This Cache is located in the "Tom Lawson Conservation Area". Parking is at the top of Hunting Hill Road at coordinates: N42 36.282' & W071 40.130'. There is a 50' right of way from the parking North to coordinates N42 36.369' & W071 40.093'. Once you get North of this point you should be clear to navigate to the cache. Please watch the No Trespassing Signs. The terrain is a flat field from parking to cache.
This is a beautiful piece of property that all will enjoy walking in. It is fairly open and can have quite a breeze blowing. We just returned from placing the cache and standing at the car was cold but once underway we warmed up. It is about a half mile trek to the cache from the car. The cache is an ammo container. It contains: a camera, please take a picture of your crew and let me know if film is out, a Geocaching log book, a slinky, deck of cards, a compass, charm neckless, & crayons. If going with small children a sled could be pulled quite easily.
There is another parking location to enter from the North. If you use MapQuest to get direction it will take you to Turner Rd. If you park near the sand pit and pick a path in you will still be on concervation land. It is a nice walk in the wood. See my log 3/14/04. Note Pics.
