Geocache Description:

Two mile roundtrip on rolling fire road.

This is another of our favorite family hikes on the midcoast. Lots of hawks and quail can be found there, as well as rabbits. Watch out for wildflowers in the spring, and ticks in the summer. Mills Creek runs nearby, and there's several bridges where the kids can throw rocks into the water. Lots of interesting historical information can be found on the informational signs at the trailhead and near the cachesite. There's even a picnic table and portable restrooms. Park in the lot for Burleigh H. Murray Ranch Park on Purissima Creek Road, just a few miles outside of Half Moon Bay.

The cache is about a mile down the trail. It's a fun hike or bike ride. Cache contains log, bookmarks, toys, etc. and is a plastic jar (decorated with homemade camoflauge and sealed in ziplock baggie). It's hidden under some eucalyptus fronds to escape detection. Please rehide carefully. You won't need to trailblaze to find it.

This is our third cache. The others are Whale Gate and Coastside Trail. Enjoy
