This multicache takes you to Union City, winner of the All-America City Award in 1999 (which was also UC's 40th birthday). You will be doing a short tour through William Cann Civic Center Park, named in memory of UC Police Chief William Cann. Nearby are City Hall, UC Police Station, and UC Public Library, though none of these waypoints will take you there.

Near the playground is an art wall that represents Union City's history. Take time to look at the artwork, then read the dedication plaque:

This is Union City Skate Park, a 20,000 square feet area for skateboarders and in-line skaters. Btw, it's also a locationless cache, but it's already been logged. 
If you don't care much for boarders and skaters, read the dedication plaque instead:

Final waypoint is located off-path, so be wary of geo-muggles within view! I added a 1/2-star to both difficulty and terrain level because it is more off-path than before, and better hidden. Be careful - there is no need to get wet!
Container is a round cookie tin "Cann" covered with camo tape. Initial contents include: logbook, pens, disposable camera, stickers, patch, toy snakes, and other stuff. Thanks to Squints for helping during cache placement.
