Long Man: As the owner has not responded to my previous log requesting that they check this cache, I'm archiving it.

The knight whose armour didn't squeak would be at home near here. Please be aware that this is on grazing land so keep 4 legged assistants under proper control and don't fall in the water!
Don't be surprised if you find that your altitude is below sea-level because you will be!!
While placing this cache I saw squirels, evidence of badgers and rabbits, a kingfisher and the remains of freshwater mussels (evidence of otters?), so keep your eyes open. The cache location is near an historical earthwork and is a perfect place for a picnic in the summer.
The cache is a green lidded tuperware type box, 13 x 9.5 x 4 cms. so don't try and put anything too large in it.
When left it contained a logbook and pencil, a wooden fish, a puzzle, a superball, a 'Wallace" figure, a couple of roubles.
