Geocache Description:

The cache was placed on the southwest side of Silver Mountain, southwest of Pricket Dam. You can drive to the base of the mountain from the east, and from there your best bet is to take the flight of steps to the top. The cache should be an easy find, but getting to the general area will be a chore.

This cache was placed by Troop 202 on a day-hike up Silver Mountain. Getting to the top of the mountain will be a sweat, at any time of the year. Take your time and bring a water bottle or two. The cache is a one-gallon rubbermaid can. The starting contents are 4 cache-in trash-out cannisters, mustad patch, trails end patch, stubby wrench, STP keychain, army canopener, mini skateboard, fake flower, geocaching magnet, q-tip box, bouncyball, carabiner, tape measure, mini coke bottle, mardi gras coin, altoids can. The area near the cache is quite steep, so keep a close eye on any small children. This is a very scenic area, a camera is suggested. If possible, put some pics in the gallery. If you want to get a hold of our troop, e-mail me.

The troops is armed with 1 Garmin Rino 110, and 2 Garmin Rino 120's.

NOTE: CACHE IS ACCESSIBLE BY SNOWMOBILE IN THE WINTER. IT GOES RIGHT TO THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN.
