Geocache Description:

Ninth in a series of Historical Marker caches. This is a multi cache.



At the coordinates above you will find a historical marker. Take a minute to read about how a local school got its start.

To locate the final ammo box cache, you’ll need to first find the nearby “Bardstown Pike Mile Marker”. There is a Circa date on that marker. Let that date be ABCD.
Now, subtract 1285 from ABCD to get EFG
Then, add 281 to EFG to get HIJ
Final Location is: N 38 09.EFG W 085 35.HIJ
The final cache is less than a half mile away. Note, you will want to drive westward on Ferndale Rd to Fern Creek Park to start your search. Happy Hunting.
