Fancy a long walk off a short pier??. Here is an
alternative webcam cache that you can bag along the
way....

desire to have your picture taken with the geocaching logo
(optional) and GPS posted here.

You
must provide a photo detailed enough to identify the
cacher.
NOTE: You
must have the latest version of
Java Virtual
Machine to run this
webcam
Ok. Now for the fun part:

Go to the coordinates listed above. This will take you to
Pacific Beach. The webcam is found on a distinctive landmark on the
beach. Find yourself a cool place to get your picture taken
somewhere on this landmark.

Call your friend and get
them to access the webcam on the Internet. All he has to do is
navigate the webcam to find you in your classic pose holding your
Geocaching Logo and GPS and take a snapshot! Thats
it!

This webcam is fully user-interactive. To begin
control of the camera click the "Start Control" button. Your
turn to operate the cam is counted down on the queuing
timer.

Once it
turns green, use the slider bars, click on the image, or try a
preset camera position. Its simple to use with a little
practice.

All
your friend has to do is track you down using the webcam. Once
found and you have selected a cool pose with your GPS and with
the geocaching logo (optional), he/she can snap your picture
by pressing the "snapshot" bottom in the upper corner of the webcam
or pressing CTRL + ALT + PRNT SCRN at the same
time, this will capture your screen and copy it to your
clipboard.

You

the picture with your log and your 1 min of fame is
immortalized!
