Vehkalanmäki is a place that reflects Vantaa very well: you can
hear Kehä III, see and hear airplanes, see an industrial area and a
power plant. And this is not all you will get! You'll find
intresting junk in Vehkalanmäki. However, you'll find beautiful
nature too, especially in summer. Summer nights there could be
young and drunk geomuggles near the cache.
If it's dark when you go there, you'll need a good flashlight.
Clothes should not get dirty but perhaps you shouldn't go there
wearing your bests. Shoes could at least get a bit dirty depending
on time of the year.
Given cordinates refer to a bus stop. Which are the two Vantaa
busses that stop at that place? Count like this:
(bus1 + bus2 + 72) / 2 = xxx
Latitude of the cache is N60° 17.xxx
To get longitude you will have to count the pipes of the nearby
power plant. Let the number of those pipes be Y. Now count like
this:
32 * Y + 672 = yyy
Longitude of the cache is E024° 49.yyy
We recommend to take detour instead of bee-line when you go to
the cache. Cache is 6x12x17 cm plastic container.

Vehkalanmäki on 'Vantaisinta' Vantaata: saat kuulla Kehä III:n
kohinan, kuulla ja nähdä lentokoneet, nähdä teollisuusaluetta ja
voimalaitoksen. Lisäksi näet Vehkalanmäellä kaikenlaista
mielenkiintoista rojua. Samalla reissulla löydät myös kaunista
luontoa - varsinkin kesäisin. Kesäiltaisin saatat joutua
harhauttamaan nuoria ja humaltuneita geojästejä.
Jos lähdet etsimään kätköä pimeässä, ota mukaan hyvä
taskulamppu. Vaatteiden ei pitäisi likaantua kätköreissulla, mutta
älä mene sinne parhaat päällä. Kengät ainakin saattavat likaantua
vuodenajasta riippuen.
