Geocache Description:

Along a paved path, no bushwacking required

This was placed in a park in Grants Pass with the most mispronounced name. Most people think this is just part of The All Sports Park but it was actually there long before. This was one of Josephine County's first parks but was undeveloped until the City of Grants Pass took it over. I helped research the park information and was there at the dedication where I met the family of the person the park was named for. Take time to explore this little park and read about the person who was a large part of setting aside area around the river for use as parks.

Access to the park can also be made via the All Sports Park and pedestrian bridge which connects both parks.

In sticking with the Lame Duck series this cache is in a 35mm film canister with only a log sheet. Well I did include a small pencil and a very small first finder. I guess some habits are hard to break.
