jonboy: Only the good die young! I had some time on my hands after a search in West Milford today, so I made a little trip up to the Timp from Anthony Wayne and removed some caches, including this one. The views were great.

Geocache Description:

A long hike to a reknowned view point in Harriman State Park.

The cache is a 30 cal ammo can and well stocked. The cache can be reached by several different trails, but none of them are short. The easiest might be to come up through Doodletown till you hit the blue Timp-Torne trail, and turn up this trail toward the Timp, but you would miss all the fine ridge walking around here. The cache is in an exposed location, with a steep drop off nearby, so it might not be good for children and those uncomfortable on steep, open rock ledges.
