If you going to have a class in geocaching, you should have a lab to illustrate how urban caches might be hidden. This would be a fine place to take someone new to caching and repeat the lab exercise of finding all four. The image shows all four caches in approximately their orientation to each other, though not to scale distances. You should find all four to log this as a find. I rated it a D1.5 as there are four to find, but they are all really D1. Flat, paved terrain, suitable for folks who may have mobility impairments. The site is busy (at least) six days a week, so be stealthy!
Update 2/14/05. Cache 1 is missing. Due to the unique container it will not be replaced. The others are still there to be found.
Cache 1: a metal candy box 3.5 inches square and 3/4 of an inch thick, with magnets glued to the bottom. Please replace the rubber-band to keep it closed, and observe the precautions to keep it from rattling. Location (same as the main cache page):N37 23.868 W121 53.433
Cache 2: a small Rubbermaid container. Contained a TeamSpaz CITO container when placed, and a BADGES button. Location:N37 23.902 W121 53.409 (might be a little off due to tree cover)
Cache 3: a film canister micro handed out at the Fremont Pizza Bash by TeamSpaz. Location:N37 23.901 W121 53.393
Cache 4: a magnetic key holder. Location:N37 23.845 W121 53.434
Do I really have to say you should bring a pen...
The whole class is an experiment, dunno whether anybody will actually show up. Anyway, the multi-cache will remain. If this works for you, i.e. hooks a new cacher, note it in the log, and do feel free to suggest other similar "lab caches".
