Geocache Description:

This is the finale of the Blue Box Series. To complete this multi-cache you will need to have visited all six of the other Blue Box caches in this series. Do not attempt unless you have all six numbers found on the info tags.

As stated above, the only method to successfully log the find for this cache is to be able to open both combination locks on this cache box. Visiting the first six Blue Box caches does this. Inside the lid of each cache is a tag that contains one of the six numbers in the combination of the locks.

The left-hand lock will open using the numbers found in Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in order. Then the right-hand lock will open using the numbers found in Thursday, Friday and Saturday in order.

Standard rules apply. Turn at least twice clockwise then stop at the first digit. Then one full turn counterclockwise and stop at the second digit. Then turn clockwise to the third digit. Gently pull the shackle open.

The section below is fictional and is provided only for informational purposes. It is the story of a father named David and his son Russell. David has been responsible for cataloguing and monitoring the caching activities in the Niagara region. He has decided that it is time for him to retire and let his son Russell takeover the responsibilities. After a week of caching around Niagara, Russell is now ready to fill his father’s shoes.

Sunday Morning – 7AM

Russell: Dad, wake up. It’s 7 in the morning.

David: Huh, what’s wrong? Did you have a bad dream?

R: Dad, wake up! We gotta get going.

D: No no son, today is Sunday. It’s the day of rest. Besides, you have learned all you need to take over for me. Can’t I enjoy my retirement in peace and comfort? You know, the comfort of my nice warm bed.

R: I have something to show you. But you have to get up and dressed because we need to leave the house for this.

D: Did you make coffee yet? I don’t function without a coffee.

R: Yes Dad, here you go. Okay remember yesterday when I borrowed the car? I went out looking for a good place to hide my first geocache.

D: You did, did you? Well that is worth getting up for. So where are we going?

R: Back towards Beamsville and Grimsby. I couldn’t decide, so I thought I would walk the Bruce Trail starting from Thirty Road and see where I could find a place to put one.

D: I have a question.

R: Yes Dad.

D: Did you put gas back in the car after you borrowed it?

R: I haven’t gotten my first paycheque yet, so you’ll have to float me for a bit longer.

D: I’ve been doing that all your life, another few days won’t make much difference now will it?

R: Want to know what I’m going to call it?

D: Sure, lay it on me.

R: Well I got thinking that with this new job I should make up a title for myself. I decided to go with “Niagara Area Geocaching Administrator”

D: Wait, don’t tell me. That would make you N.A.G.A. And if you hide a cache it would be a NAGAHIDE?

R: What’s Nagahide? I’m just kidding. Yes I was going to call it that. What do you think?

D: I think that there are enough bad jokes out there in Geocaching that you will fit in just nicely. You do realize that a Naga is a mythological being that is a snake with a human head right? Also the word Naga is rooted in Sanskrit and means "Serpent". In the Esoteric Tradition it is synonymous for Adepts, or Initiates. In India and Egypt, and even in Central and South America, the Naga stands for one who is wise. In all mythological language the snake is also an emblem of immortality. Its endless representation with its tail in its mouth, and the constant renewal of its skin and vigor enlivens the symbols of continued youth and eternity. The Serpent's reputation for positive medicinal and/or life-preserving qualities have also contributed to the honors of the Serpent

R: So it’s like a combination of nature and mankind? Being like a snake is good for your health.

D: Kind of.

R: Cool.

D: Well let’s get going. For a change I want to be home this afternoon. There is bound to be a movie or game on that I can watch till your Mother gets home from the craft festival.

R: Okay, I’m driving.

D: And buying lunch?

R: As if.

This ends the Blue Box series. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Please only take one tube, and leave a trade item so that when all the tubes are gone the cache can continue on. There will be 25 tubes made available and after that the finale will be converted to a regular find.

Big Thanks to the following people:

To my wife for putting up with my hobby and letting me spend most of my week off setting this up. Love you Teacup!

To Bear and Ducky for helping me make the finale prize

To Logger and Ail for the on-phone cache support

And to all the people that have placed caches that I used in this series. They are what drive me to put out my own caches and they have shown me many wonderful areas of Niagara.

First Finder ---> The Jack Rabbit (Congrats!)

2nd ---> Nozzletime
3rd ---> Yahtzee
4th ---> Algonquin Bound
5th ---> 1701eh
