Please do not wander into Protected Areas; cache is not there. "Hop To It Cache" was placed on Easter Sunday, 2004. This is my first attempt at a cache placement and my first TB (Hop To It Pete) started here. This cache seems to have become a TB hostel so a bigger container was necessary. The cache is a large green ammo can.

Located in pretty Bowman's Beach Park. Bowman's Beach is a popular spot with great shelling, picnic tables, bathrooms,and bike racks.
Directions: after the Sanibel causeway bridge, make a right on Periwinkle Way to Tarpon Bay Road. Turn right on Tarpon Bay Road then, then left at the 4-way stop on to Sanibel-Captiva Road. From this road, turn left to Bowman's Beach Road (brown sign). ($ Parking)
1-05-05 Post Hurricane Charley note: The cache had to be moved from it's original spot after the hurricane's destruction and ensuing debris removal. It was originally on the Fitness Trail which is no longer (I hope they re-build it). The park sure looks a lot different without the dense Australian pines.
10-29-05 Post Hurricane Wilma note: Cache survived Wilma unscathed.
