Marsing Wash Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Udink: Well, my plan to replace the cache probably isn't going to happen--not enough time or ambition--so I'm archiving it. I think for any future caches that I place, I'll make sure that enough work is involved in reaching the cache that losers such as whoever stole this one will at least have to work for their ill-gotten gains.

Geocache Description:

Located near Marsing Wash, about 8 miles south of Wellington. Dirt road is very well-maintained and easily passable by any vehicle in dry weather.

There are numerous ways to reach this cache, but I'll only give directions for the most direct. From Price, head east on US-6, pass through Wellington, and turn right (south) just after mile marker 253. Use caution when pulling back onto the highway here if you return this way. From this point, follow the main dirt road until you come to the railroad tracks. Cross the tracks and turn to the right (east), and shortly after that (only a few hundred feet), the road forks again--take the left fork. From here, let your GPS take over and it'll lead you to the cache.

The cache is in a camouflage ammo box, 5.5" W x 11" L x 6.5" D. Contents include:

Sewing kit
3' tape measure
Compass keyring
Box of 15-amp automotive blade-type fuses
Length of CAT-5 cable with RJ-45 ends
Package of day-planner refill note paper
Tennis ball
Boomtown arcade token
Package of scrapbooking die-cuts
