Geocache Description:

Joseph Clark Sr., and later John Clark #9 Old Dogtown Road

This house is one of the finest in Dogtown. Most of the foundation was built from quarried rock, and since it was built above grade most of the original cellar is still standing. A very pure spring provides water close to this house, and it would have been a really great place to live.

This cache is just to the North of the compost yard maintained by the city, and is just a few yards East of the gate across Old Dogtown Road. Just past this cache location will be a large open field that makes an excellent place for a picnic, and is one of the old commercial areas of Dogtown with several old factories from the colonial era.
