NEDERLANDS; Naast een stad met een prachtig en rijk verleden heeft Hoorn ook nieuwbouw. Grenzend aan de nieuwbouw hebben de bestuurders gelukkig ook nog oog gehad voor de natuur.
In dit mooie park kan je even lekker dwalen en genieten van de bomen, de vogels, de waterpartijen en van een wandeling over kronkelige paden. Het is een korte wandeling en de cache-locatie brengt je midden in het mooiste stukje van het park. Een kinderwagen kan mee maar op een paar punten is (til)hulp noodzakelijk, de hond mag op enkele plekken los lopen.
Na het loggen kan je nog even verder dwalen, schrik niet van het "gele monster" met bovenleiding.
ENGLISH; Apart from being a city with a magnificent and rich history, Hoorn also has a lot of newly built houses. Fortunately the local gouvernment has also had an eye for a piece of nature at the edge of such new districts.
In this beautiful park you can wander around on winding paths, enjoy the trees, birds and ornamental waters. It is a short hike and the cache location brings you in the middle of the nicest part of this park. It is possible to bring a baby carriage but on a few points (carry) assistance is necessary, the dog is allowed to walk freely here and there.
After logging the cache you can wander some more, don't be afraid for the "yellow monster" with overhead wires.
