Great place for a bushwalk, and watching some native animals, birds (if your quiet) maybe a BBQ afterwards.
Access is easy via Baldivis Rd. turning eastward into Karnup Rd. Car parking is found on the southern side of Karnup Rd. in the picnic/bbq area.S 32° 16.891 / E 115° 42.728. Near the BBQ area is an information board and some walking guide pamphlets in a small wooden box beside it.

From the BBQ area head in a north west direction accross the road to the start of the Don Shepherd Nature Walk.
Continue along the trail in a northerly direction until you come accross the Nyoongah Trail and follow that in an easterly direction to the end by then you should have a good idea of where to look. There's just enough tree coverage to make it interesting.
