Geocache Description:

Nice forest walk up to an old gold mining area.

Track starts at S42.03.968 E171.55.362 (the end of a field that used to be a town called Capleston).

The track follows a road that the miners used to use to access the mine workings. The Information Centre at Reefton has lots of brochures, photos and historical info about this area.

Allow 1 hour return (including search time) for this cache.
