Geocache Description:

A wonderful hike covering a good portion of the Robert Frost trail on Mount Toby. It has a fair amount of uphill climbing so I wouldn't recommend it for young children and/or persons with questionable fitness. This is a 5 stage multi with a small plastic bottle and a log book and such at the end for the survivors.

face="Comic Sans MS" color="red">A trail map of Mt. Toby is STRONGLY recommended.

The first cache is a film canister and holds the coordinates for the second cache and so on. The second container is a film canister. The third is a waterproof cammo'd match stick container. The fourth is a waterproof matchstick holder and the final is a whitish plastic bottle.

There are a couple of parking areas on Reservation Rd. You start at the one near the Tower Rd. and end up at the pond.Your choice.

Hint for first cache is:
In the middle of the hill where trails unite,
To find this cache you may need a light.

Hint for second cache is:
In a half an hour,
you'll come upon the tower.
Before you is the sign,
behind you is the find.

Hint for third cache is:
You'll find cache number three,
In a living horizontal tree.

Hint for fourth cache is:
Beside the roaring brook is Rhodes,
Fifteen paces North to go.

Hint for fifth and final cache is:
A plastic bottle is what you seek,
Under a log is where to peek.

At the second cache site there are two benchmarks that are easily found if you do that sort of thing, too.

The final cache is located just off the Cranberry Pond trail. The trail is not marked at that end of the trail so use the map.
