Geocache Description:


I was eating leftover birthday cake when I happened across this neat example of valley life past. If you keep your eyes open while geocaching (or in the Childrens Discovery Museum), you'll see these old tank tower buildings. Only 2 stories high, they were built for water tanks and came with a windmill attached. Most old farmsteads had one, and I was suprised to see this one both intact and working, apparently still pumping water for the landscape around it.

It was hard to find anywhere to hide a cache that was unobtrusive, so you'll have to hunt carefully. Please be respectful.
