This cache will take you through small towns, back-country roads,
forgotten forests, cemeteries, and other out-of-the-way places of
history. You will need to drive between each waypoint, and any
route may take 2-4 hours to complete. There are three endings to
the cache, each contains a Regular-sized container with a log book.
The coordinates and clues for choices are found by making
observations at the current waypoint, and by doing simple letter
replacements and math with the observed information.
This cache goes by many other geocaches located in Livingston
County, so a very full day of geocaching can be done

Story Line
Upon coming to Livingston County, you will have a sixth sense
which allows you to see through time and space. At each cache point
you will be able to look through time towards various events that
happened in Livingston County’s history. Based on what you
see, you will need to decide which direction to take and follow the
adventure.

Description:
At this point you are at the administrative heart of Livingston
County. From here, all roads lead out to the rest of the
County.
Your vision becomes blurred as your sixth sense starts working,
looking around through time from this point you see the

Choice 1:
Looking to the north, you see a lone solider who appears to be
dressed in a War of 1812 uniform.
To follow the lone soldier, determine the date that the building
at your current location was built: _________
- To find the coordinate of the next site, replace the letter A
in N 42° 56.538’ W 077° 4A.040 with the 3rd digit from the
date the building was built
- To find the next page of clues, replace the letter C in Page C
by adding 1 to the value of the third digit of the date the
building was built
Choice 2:
Looking to the southeast, you see a group of 15 soldiers who
look like they are from the Revolutionary War.
To tag along with the group of soldiers, determine the date that
the building at your current location was built: _________
- To find the coordinate of the next site, replace the letter B
in N 42° 43.024’ W 077° 43.B5B by subtracting 2 from the
value of 4th digit in the date the building was built.
- To find the next page of clues, replace the letter D in Page D
with the value of 4th digit in the date the building was built.
