Tämä kahden tykin patteri oli osa v 1940-41 ja 1944 rakennettua salpa-asemaa.
Jatkosodan 1941-44 lopun taistelut eivät ulottuneet Salpalinjalle, mutta sen olemassaolo mahdollisti osaltaan Suomen irrottautumisen sodasta miehittämättömänä ja itsenäisenä.
This battery of two cannons was part of the Salpa line built in 1940-41 and 1944.
The final battles of the war of 1941-44 never reached the Salpa line, but its existence permitted Finland to disengage from the war without occupation and to retaining national independence.
