Het woord Broek heeft in deze plaatsnaam niet de betekenis van
het kledingstuk, maar van laag en drassig land. Een klein dorp, een
kleine cache, een kleine naam: Broekje. Met de auto of de fiets
kunt u tot bij deze cache komen. Maar om echt te kunnen genieten
van de schoonheid van het dorp parkeert u de auto op het grote
parkeerterrein in het dorp en gaat u te voet verder naar de cache
(ongeveer 1½ km). De coördinaten van het parkeerterrein
zijn:
N 52°26.137 - E 004°59.797
Loop vervolgens naar de cache via:
N 52°26.155 - E 004°59.569.
De cache is een 35 mm filmkokertje. Er is slechts een logboekje
aanwezig, dus neem zelf een pen mee.

This is the second of the number of
caches in the Waterland area. A simple and easy to find cache just
outsite the beautiful village of Broek in Waterland.
Broek is the Dutch word for pants, but
here it means low and squelchy land. A small village, a small
cache, a small name: Broekje. You can drive your car or bike all
the way to the cache. But if you really want to enjoy the beauty of
this village you better park your car at the large car park in the
village and then walk on to the cache (about 1½ km). These
are the coordinates of the car park:

Now walk to the cache via:
N 52°26.155 - E 004°59.569.
The cache is a 35 mm film canister.
There is only a logbook inside, so bring your own
pen.
