The Little Fellows grave is a well known gravesite monument to a pioneer boy who used to wave at the train every time it passed. He was burried next to the tracks when he died. Read the whole story at the site when you visit. The cache is in a small white rubbermaid tub. Initial stock includes a shovelhead oil filter, zippo lighters (no fluid in them), pencils, rolls of coins, pencils and assorted stuff from my junk drawer. The road to it is not improved, so a 4 wheel drive vehicle, motorcycle, or ATV is the best machine once you leave the pavement, BUT, if it has not rained in a while any car can make the mile long drive from the pavement to the grave. Slippery when wet.

I read the logs about the how the old container had failed and as luck would have it, I had a replacement container with me. I had a different use in mind for it originally but I couldn't think of a better place for it so I placed it here. It is a large peanut butter jar with a camoflage sleeve which means its not as big as the orgininal container. I took the original log pages and placed them inside the new container in their own baggie as well as placing a new log book. I hope I helped.
Left "Take Me Shooting" TBJRMW.
I left with moist eyes, thanks for bringing me here.

The container needs to be replaced. It is falling apart. We searched the Jeep for a new container but the only thing we had was 2 plastic bags. So we wrapped it up in that.

This is an interesting story. I read about it in the South Dakota magazine. Glad we drove out to it.

I am disappointed we waited so long to get this cache. I think it made the trip to the cache easier, but this is too good of a location to not go see sooner as opposed to later. Great area - well taken care of. TFTC.
