SOL10 Leposaari Multi-cache

Warning! The SOL cache series expose the geocacher to excessive UV radiation in an environment where it feels comfortably cool. Do not get a sunburnt, since it raises the risk of skin cancer significantly. There's nowadays also mites in the Helsinki archipelago that are contaminated with the TBE virus. The proper means to hedge against the disease (Kumlingen tauti in finnish) is the vaccination.

Note that the cache is accessible only between 7am and 10pm (07:00-22:00) during the summertime and till 8pm (07:00-20:00) otherwise. Snow is most likely a serious problem at the first stop in winter. The rocks will be slippery when wet or frozen.

The first stop

The cache grounds is only a short walk from the Kulosaari metro station. Despite of the prohibition signs it looks like that someone has been fishing in here at year n.

The micro cache

The film canister is located at N 60° 11.yyy' E025°00.070', where yyy= n-1490. You'll need to bring along your own writing equipment in here to sign the log.
