A "Pleasant" spot for a convenience stop on the Haast Pass road (flush toilets, tap water and picnic tables under rain shelters).
Thought I'd mark this spot "Pleasant Flat" with a cache, simply because its miles from anywhere and if you're on the move with kids and they've gotta go... well, it helps if you know where to take them.
The cache is hidden about 1 min into the "5" min loop walk (regardless of which direction you take).
