How Geocaching Works
The majestic setting of the Municipal Forest offers summer hikers magnificent wildlife and foliage viewing opportunities. And winter provides a pristine setting for outdoor enthusiasts. Truly a year-round, enjoyable experience.
Park at one of two trail heads:
28th St N46 42.320’ W92 07.422’ one mile to the cache
The walk is on the new Millennium Trail and blacktop all but the last 100 yards.
42nd St N46 41.524’ W92 08.636’ ¾ mile to the cache
The walk is on the cross-country ski trail system and is not mowed in the summer, but a nice hike.This cache will provide you the opportunity to enjoy whitetail deer, black bear, raccoon, fox, coyote, porcupine, martin, squirrels, hawks, owls, and peacefulness.
