After spending another brief weekend in La Quinta and the
surrounding area I came to realize that my hosts were really
special.
They’ve spent countless hours organizing events, guiding others
that are visiting their home turf, helping new local geocachers
become more knowledgeable in the use of their GPSr’s, and creating
special geocaching trails for the rest of us to find.
I left this cache near their home in a rather beautiful park
setting. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy this peaceful setting,
there’s a nice fountain and pools making the area quite scenic.
Commemorative artwork is scattered about for you to learn more of
past residents achievements.
Perhaps after enjoying a brief respite from your geocaching
searches you’ll agree that Team Nohoch are truly our geocaching
Angels of the Desert and hide another cache or two nearby for them
to enjoy finding.
The cache you seek is a square magnetic tin, please be aware
that others from outside our game may be watching you and use
appropriate stealth in retrieving the cache.
