Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor is the location for the fourth cache hidden by caughtatwork.
Toccata - A composition for organ or harpsichord, free and bold in style consisting of runs and passages alternating with fugued or contrapuntal work, generally in equal notes with a flowing animated and repaid movement.

Fugue - The most highly developed form of contrapuntal imitation based on the principal of the equality of the parts, a theme proposed by one part being taken up successively by all participating parts thus bringing each in turn into special prominence.

These lava formations were formed about a million years ago when a massive lava flow, about 70 metres thick, spread over the plains from nearby volcanic hills. A surface crust formed and the lava beneath cooled very slowly and contracted. Vertical surface cracks developed, and as the lava continued to harden, the cracks lengthened until the basaltic mass was divided into columns. Over the next million years, Jacksons Creek cut a deep valley through the thick basalt layer to expose the formation known as 'the organ pipes'.

Walk down the path to view the vertical columns - a set of basalt columns formed by lava.
Walk upstream about 400 metres and see Rosette Rock - a radial array of basalt columns like the spokes of a wheel.
Another 300 meters upstream and you can look at the Tessellated Pavement - the tops of basalt columns.

Which formation the cache is at will be up to your GPSr to find.

The walk down to the formations is quite steep and the walk back up is very tiring indeed. Some of the walkways are paved and some are hardpacked dirt. To visit all three formations, you will need about 30-45 minutes plus another 15-20 minutes return. This does not include time to search for the cache.

The cache itself is a small traditional cache, around 375ml, disguised somewhat to match the surroundings.

Even though you are in a deep gully, you should receive a decent satellite signal (we had 6 at the time of hiding).

We have respected the environmental boundaries that are in place in the cache location, so even if you GPSr is pointing you into the fenced off environmental area, you will not find the cache inside the fence.

Parks Victoria advise that no dogs, bicycles or pets are permitted and that the park gates close at 4:30pm.

Went to the park for a Picnic and found this Cache. Had a good time and saw some wildlife. Kids complained a little about the climb but they soon got over it. Took a little while to find the cache as one of the kids made a mistake with the additional hints decryption which put us off track a little. Added a DS stylus but didn't take anything. Were interupted by a muggle when writing in the log, so it was cut a bit short. :)

Found @ 1150 by Mrs Mud, Johnny Mud and GeoSam. We were also going to attempt "I Guess They Couldn't Stand Organ Music", however the creek was a bit high after the recent few days of rain to safely negotiate so we chose to err on the side of caution. So off to "D Minor" it was. Found easily after the muggle tourists left GZ. The cache log was full as per the most recent log post so we did a little housekeeping including adding a new log book (a bit bigger than the last so please make sure the lid is on tight) and getting rid of a few mouldy bandaids and some odd damp bits of paper. After a quick dry the cache was nice and new again and ready to go. Signed the log (new book), rehid and back to the visitors centre area for hot dogs on the gas BBQ for lunch.
Great spot. Signed the log and took nothing. Left 2 x AFES Pogs (American military platic coins)
Terrific place to visit. Highly recommended. TFTC.
We'll be back to do "I Guess They Couldn't Stand Organ Music" after the rain stops and the creek slows to a trickle......

Found with sparrowfall. Glad it wasn't a hot day! Interesting park - thanks for making us search it out - doubt I would have ever visited otherwise.
