A large ammo box hidden at one of our favorite restorative locations. BE WARNED: IF YOU FOUND IT BEFORE, IT IS IN A DIFFERENT PLACE NOW AS OF OCT 2005!!! Also, beware of adding TBs - this cache seems to lose them.
Each summer, on the way back up the coast from delivering T and B to camp, D&D stop at this British pub/inn/restaurant establishment to *D*compress. Then when D&D go back to get T and B after a week of hilarious summer camp frivolity, TBD&D often stop here again because it is also a great place for people to come with their kids.This location sports lots of British artifacts and collectibles, including "the World's Only Double Decker Smoking Bus," a bus for the kids full of video games, and tons of eye candy everywhere.This year during our outbound summer camp delivery trek, we decided to place a cache at this location. The cache is an ammo box which we have initially stocked with a collection of British fiction:Some Tame Gazelle, by Barbara PymCurtain, by Agatha ChristieThe Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar WildeMurder on the Orient Express, by Agatha ChristieThe Skull Beneath the Skin, by P.D. JamesThe only British items we had lying around were books, so please do not feel that this is a books-only cache. If you want to trade other UK-type items, feel free. No hard-and-fast trade theme here.We have also included a gift certificate to the local establishment for FTF so you can have a pint (or whatever) on us.We asked for and received an enthusiastic approval from the owner of this establishment, so please remember that this cache is located on private property with approval of the owner and be nice to the surroundings while you search. New hide location as of October 2005 will require more stealth.
