This is set in Keirunga Gardens
This spot it not that well known for travellers so next time you are in Hawke's Bay look it up.
It has a scale model steam railway which are big enough for you to ride on, if you are wanting to ride the trains they only run on the 1st and 3rd Sunday from 11-4 they do cost to ride, but it is free to look around.
The tracks and every thing built there were mostly made by the steam train enthusiasts themselves, when I lived down there I gave up many a Saturday to help shovel dirt and man a wheelbarrow.
The area has toilets, arts and crafts and some lovely gardens.
