Parker Park Traditional Cache
ddhill: The site has been gone for a bit, and was not a great hide.
Will think about laying a different one somewhere in the park.

Cache is located in Parker Park, Litchfield. It is about .2 of a mile in on a nature trail.
Parking is located at N42 50.111 W71 28.421 (near the corner of Rt 3a and Pinecrest on 3a). Look for the information kiosk so you know you are in the right place. There is a trail to follow from the parking area to within about 30 feet of the cache, so please stick to the trail. The trail starts just to the right of the kiosk as you are facing it and goes around the trees to the right until near the creek before it enters the woods. Shortcuts may get you wet.... Trail is blazed occasionally with a blue paint spot on trees, but the blaze is not really needed as the trail should be quite obvious. Trail follows a nice brook for most of the way. Bring your bug spray.
Please do NOT cut across any farmers fields on your way to the cache, it is not needed and that is a good way to give geocaching a bad name.
The park closes at 9pm and it would seem that the police do notice.
