QQ III Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

cachehedz: This was an odd "muggling", indeed. Both the main cache and the bonus cache were trashed, and the empty ammo box was carried .2 miles to the site of the bonus. I hope it was simply a really, really lucky muggle that stumbled onto two caches, because I don't know how else one would find the bonus without a GPSr.
Oh well, the logbooks were recovered, and I managed to find the travel bug that was in the main cache.
Thanks to all the visitors - almost all, that is [;)]

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A three-stage multi located along the Oak Leaf Trail. Listed coords are for the first waypoint.

Tags hidden at the first two waypoints give the coordinates for the next. The third stage is a hidden ammo box, with a prize for the first finder, and a surprise for everyone. Okay, I guess after the first few logs it won't be a surprise anymore. As usual, I have used ideas from other creative geocachers when creating this cache.

I don't usually give out parking coords, but let's just say you may want to park so that you approach the first waypoint from the S-SW. That will make the surprise more enjoyable. Very little bushwacking is required. If you find yourself tempted to bushwack when you are further than 100 feet from the cache - there is a path you haven't tried.
