This is a trail from the Norrie-Miller Park, through the Rodney
Gardens to the Riverside Park, enjoying the Sculptures on the way.
They are not listed in any order so you will have to keep your eyes
open as you walk around.
Start at the above co-ords, this is also a Car Park, (Situated
at the east end of the Queens Bridge down a 'hairpin' bend).
BENCHMARK - (An appropriate start). These sculptures follow the
slope up and mimic the Ordnance Datum points which are used as a
universal indicator of river levels.

EVERGREEN - A pillar with images of the environmental thinking
of Sir Patrick Geddes.

STEP OVER THE BOTTOM POND

RIVERS RACE PICNIC PLACE - A mix of oak, elm, limestone and
glacial boulders, made into a picnic area.
How many wooden seats are there? " R "

THE DANCE WITHIN - This is a copper totem pole which looks more
like a tower of half eaten doughnuts.
How many whole doughnuts would this make? " F " (they may not
join exactly - and include the uneaten one!) .

MILLAIS VIEWPOINT - This sculpture frames the view of the
kirkyard beyond, where the wife and children of John Everett
Millais are buried.

WAVE ELM BENCHES - These benches use the flow of the wood to
echo the nearby flow of the river.
