Geocache Description:

Placed by JustJacks, adopted by TAbbyGibbs

The 62-acre Walkup and Robinson Memorial Reservation was a bequest to the Sudbury Valley Trustees in 1980 by Lawrence Walkup, a farmer and lifelong resident of the town. The reservation is a memorial to his parents and four generations that farmed this land. The property includes mixed hardwoods and old pasture uplands, an open field, wooded wetland, and a small spring-fed pond. There are a variety of trails for easy walking through the woods.

The reservation is reached from the Lyons Street/Research Drive Exit off Route 9, the first exit west of Interstate Route 495. Follow Lyons Street extension (also know as Connector Road) south about one-half mile to Friberg Parkway on the left at the Westborough Business Park sign. The entrance to the reservation is a gravel drive marked by a SVT sign on the right side of the parkway - just beyond the second small pond. The drive turns left to the reservation gate and parking area with an information board. The reservation is open to visitors from dawn to dusk all year long.
