A small plastic cylinder east of Carpinteria State Park and west of Carpinteria Bluffs Open Space Area - ON THE BLUFF - not on the beach.
THIS CACHE WAS RELOCATED 9/11/04 AND COORDS ABOVE ARE CORRECT. DISREGARD OTHER COORDS BELOW (EMC'S AND BBQ STAIN'S).
It's about 150' south of previous location.
I visit a dear friend in Carpinteria frequently and really enjoy this beautiful coastline. Many have enjoyed my San Simeon Seal Spot cache; seals are also spotted here in "Carp", especially in the winter and spring. Approach from the west or east.
This is the main Amtrak line so you may see a train while you're exploring - BE CAREFUL. Stay on trails and be careful of the many natural oil seeps on this bluff. The cache is near the cliff's edge but within a safety zone, but please be careful.
PLEASE CAREFULLY RE-HIDE THE CACHE SO IT IS NOT VISIBLE!
