Cache is located in a little-known scenic reserve southwest of Nelson.
This is a great place to have a picnic or enjoy a break in your day. The cache is located along a path in a native forest area. There are two ways to access the cache - the first, by following a track at the east end of the grassed parking area (a less direct but more scenic route), the second, by walking west along the grassed parking area to a track that will take you directly to the cache. Be aware that the tree cover makes GPS coverage a little tricky. This is one of our favourite places to walk our Labrador.
The cache is a 10cm round screw top, camo coloured container marked GEO.
The cache contains log book, pencil, sharpener, as well as Virgin Paua shell, Canadian dime, wooden heart and one of USA Kiwi's `signature' items.
