A traditional box hidden in the Caffarella Park in Rome.
Very close to the cache there is the monument "Ninfeo di Egeria".
This is a traditional plastic box that has been hidden inside the Caffarella Park in Rome. If you park your car along Via Latina, there is a 1550 metres' walk along wide paths in a beautiful Roman park to reach this cache. The nearest metro station is 'Colli Albani'.
The box is hidden near the Ninfeo di Egeria monument so you can do some sight-seeing too.
Have a nice walk in a beautiful Roman park
and discover another face of the "città eterna"!
Note! You cannot cross the river in the park (fiume Almone) anywhere else but by the bridge. So I advise you to study the small map and not try to go for the cache using the shortest (=GPS) route when coming from the north (Via Latina). The map is among the pictures below and was added to the website on 5th February 2005.
