The cache is
located in the vicinity of the Fågelhöjden bird
tower, Torslanda, Göteborg,
overlooking Torsviken (the Tors bay) bird reservation
area.
The cache is a magnetic
black film canister that's not on the
ground.
It had the following content from start:
- Cache log
stripe
- Pencil
- A picture of my Smashing GeoCaching Dogs (the SGCD)
(NB, not a trading object! If
you want a picture of the SGCD send me an e-mail and I will send
you a picture!)
Torsviken is a special
protection area according to EU bird directive, which has no
connection with any other "Natura 2000-area".
In general the area can be described as a former coastal bay
situated near a large estuary now walled in and surrounded by
industrial activities.
Regionally is the area important for migratory and wintering
waterfowl.
This is my second cache which is a
part of my brother jasy's GGM
Project. I hope you'll enjoy it!
It’s well worth a visit for the one who is
interested in bird watching, but also for the one with general
interests in nature.
