This cache highlights one of the many Ducks Unlimited projects found all across North America.
You will find good parking, off the highway at N 50 34.738 W 119 53.448 This is a short walk. Take binoculars if you have them. There will be lots of waterfowl, shorebirds and even Kingfishers. The cache is a 30 cal. ammunition container, and should be easy to find out in the grasslands. It originally held a variety of Ducks Unlimited stuff, cap, video, duck ID cards, even an alarm clock in case you want to get up early to watch a dawn flight. It is also the starting point for the travel bug "Hoodie" the merganser.
