Due to the severe lack of geocaches on the Tiburon peninsula, jagtrev placed two along the bay front: this well-hidden, standard-sized cache; and another easier, more accessible micro further north, The Marina. Both of these caches are located near favorite summer hangout spots on the peninsula.
You might want to reserve some time to enjoy the area. On weekends, it is a very popular (and busy) area, so be either very careful or do not hunt on these days at all. However, the cache is hidden well, and not likely to be stolen.
This drainage jetty seems to "reach" out into the water, hence our nickname for it. When the tide isn't to high, it's fun to sit out on the concrete block at the end of the jetty and watch the sailboats. The Reach (the cache) is fairly watertight when closed correctly. It will be necessary to move a few rocks in order to access the cache contents, which include a handful of small toy boats and some San Francisco souvenir keychains. Trade items as you'd like: while this cache started with a "San Francisco Bay" theme, it doesn't need to continue with it. Always trade up, or trade even, though.
