At the posted coordinates (N45 25.196, W075 42.534) you will find a statue of one of Canada's Dominion Archivist, Sir Arthur George Doughty. In order to find the micro-cache nearby you will have to find the answer to four questions.
a) In what year did he become an archivist (yyyy)?
b) In what year did he retire (yyyy)?
c) How many years did he serve as an archivist?
d) In what year was the statue casted (yyyy)?
Instructions:
1) Add the four numbers together.
2) Divide the result by 1000.
3) Add the result to each of:
N45 19.342 and W075 36.780
The cache is a magnetically-attached Altoids mint can. Please bring your own pencil as I couldn't fit one in.
The cache is located in an urban area with a lot of pedestrian and bike traffic so use care and caution when accessing the cache.
