In summer Bretaye is accessible on foot (terrain: 3.5), by
cog-wheel train BVB (terrain: 1) from Bex, Gryon or Villars or by
car (not recommended). In winter you can use the BVB or ski lifts
of the area (Villars - Les Diablerets) and go there on skis.
There are many trails for hiking and mountainbiking (slopes for
skiing in the wintertime) and a couple of restaurants in Bretaye.
In order to log this cache you need to upload a webcam picture
of yourself. The Bretaye webcam is permanently turning around
taking images of the area in front of the cabin and of the Grand
Chamossaire. Please follow these instructions:
- Visit the webcam and arrange for someone to access the webcam
picture at
http://www.tele-villars-gryon.ch/site/tvg/webcam.aspx?camera=70120
, right click the picture and "save as" to his/her hard drive.
- Return to your base and log the find, then visit your log and
click "upload an image for this log".
- Follow the instructions to upload the picture from the hard
drive.
