This is the first geocache in Pernaja.
Tämä on Pernajan ensimmäinen geokätkö.
The cache is located close to the medieval stone church, one of the oldest churches in Finland. The church had its 650th anniversary in 2003. More information about the church (visit link) and the surroundings (visit link) (sorry, only in finnish and swedish).
The coordinates lead you to the first hint at a wooden sign structure. There is a parking place for cars on the opposite side of the road. You don't need to move your car during the hunting, all the hints and the stash are located within a convenient walking distance.
The number of the actual signs of the sign structure is A.
To get the second hint, go roughly 150 meters south-east to the main fasade of the church.
The number of the white circles in a row on the fasade is B.
For the final hint, go to the statue at:
N60 26.xxx, where xxx=A*B*10-38
E026 02.yyy, where yyy=A*B*B+178
Study the statue and find out the year it was raised. The year (four digits) is C.
Now you are ready to calculate the cache coordinates:
N60 kk.lll, where kk=2*B+2 and lll=(C-224)/5
E026 0m.nnn, where m=A-1 and nnn=(C-18)/3
The cache is a half liter freezer box and it should be accessible also during the wintertime.

Koordinaatit osoittavat puisen kylttirakennelman luo. Auton voi pysäköidä tien toisella puolella olevalle paikoitusalueelle, eikä sitä tarvitse kätkön etsinnän aikana siirtää. Kaikki vihjeet ja itse kätkö ovat kävelyetäisyydellä.

Kulje seuraavaa vihjettä varten n. 150 metriä kaakkoon kirkon etupuolelle. Julkisivulla rivissä olevien valkoisten ympyröiden määrä on B.
