Durch die Garchinger Heide
Hintergrundinformationen
Die Garchinger Heide ist ein Gebiet wie es früher typisch war in
der Münchner Schotterebene. Es ist ein Rückzugsgebiet für seltene
und bedrohte Pflanzen und Tiere.
Nähere Informationen zu Geschichte, Geologie, Biologie usw.
findet man beim
Heideflächenverein.
Da es sich um ein Naturschutzgebiet handelt, in dem Arten zu
finden sind, die es sonst tatsächlich nirgends mehr gibt, möchte
ich Euch bitten, die Ge- und Verbote dort einzuhalten, die auf der
Informationstafel bei N48 17.331 E11 38.944 genannt
sind.
Insbesondere:
- Kein Zugang mit
Fahrrädern!
- Kein Zugang mit Hunden (auch nicht an der
kurzen Leine)!
- Nur (sehr) bedingt
kinderwagentauglich!
Dort findet Ihr auch saisonal wechselnde Faltblätter zur
aktuellen Flora.
Die Strecke umfasst hin- und zurück ca. 2,5 – 3 km in ebenem
Gelände auf schmalen Trampelpfaden.
Zum Cache
Der Einstieg zu diesem einfachen Multi befindet sich ungefähr
auf halber Strecke zwischen Eching und Dietersheim am Rande eines
Naturschutzgebiets bei N48 17.331 E11 38.944, nicht weit von
der Ausfahrt Eching der A9. Deshalb vorzugsweise bei Ostwind
besuchen!

Bevor Ihr Euch auf den Weg macht, beginnt
eine neue Track-Aufzeichnung!
Bei allen Formeln gilt: Punkt- vor Strichrechnung!

Folgt dem mit Pflöcken markierten Pfad, der hier beginnt.
Nach einer Strecke von wenig mehr als 100m findet Ihr einen
Gedenkstein.

Abzweige rechts und links zu beachten. Bei

Standpunkt aus über den Parkplatz, an dem Ihr gestartet seid, bis
zu dem gerade errechneten Hilfspunkt zeichnet sich nun Muster

Background
The Garchinger Heide is an area typical of the so called gravel
lowlands created by the river Isar during the ice age. It is a
sanctuary for rare and endangered plants and animals.
More information (in German) on the historical, geological and
biological background can be found at the
Heideflächenverein
(Heathland Society, an association of the local towns).
Because this area is a nature reserve where you can find species
that are extinct in all other places, please, please, please follow
the instructions given on the information panel at N48 17.331
E11 38.944.
Especially important points are
- Do not access the area with
bicycles!
- Do not enter with dogs, neither without
nor on long or short lead!
- The trails are hardly adequate for
prams!
There are also regularly updated flyers available at the
information panel about the currently blooming plants.
The distance is some 2.5 to 3 km along narrow dirt tracks across
a relatively flat area.
To the Cache
The start point to this easy Multi is half the way between
Eching and Dietersheim at the border of a small nature reserve at
N48 17.331 E11 38.944. This is not far from the highway A9
to / from Munich, exit Eching. If possible come here on a day with
easterly winds, then you can hardly hear the highway.
Here you can park your car and here you find the first

Please follow the pegged out trail starting here. After a
distance of about 100 m you’ll find a memorial stone.

follow the line back to the parking lot where you started your
walk, and continue along the imaginary line straight to the
