This cache is located in Chief Chic-A-Si Park on Indian
Rocks Beach.
The legend of Chief Chic-a-Si begins with his becoming ill
near Ocala. His friend Chief Nu-Wa suggested that he be taken to a
healing spring near some large rocks. The chief drank from the
spring and regained his health. The tribe returned each year as a
pilgrimate and to fish. Settlers observed the Indians on the rocks,
and named the place Indian Rocks.
