The cache is located on a walkway in a town south of Nelson.
The cache site is located in the lower reaches of a walkway that is part of an inter-connecting local walkway system. There a number of ways to reache the cache, however, only a ten minute walk is required if you park at this walkway's entrance. Have added walkway entrance co-ordinates for visitors only. Locals, wing it!!Reception is poor in trees; however, a little better near cache site.
The cache is a small camo-panted container. It contains a log book,pencil and a number of "Old Abes and Ferns". If you wish, please take one of each as part of your reward.
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
A portion of the track has been upgraded and a bird watchers blind is now located just off the track about half way to cache. site. Very unique.
