Geocache Description:

Come visit the North Shore of the SuAsCo Reservoir.

This cache is placed along the Westborough Charm Bracelet Trail. It is located on the SuAsCo Reservior, which is the headwaters for the Assebet River. Some people also call the area Mill Pond and some old topo maps refer to the pond as Stump Pond. The pond and the land surrounding is an annex of Quinsigamond State Park.

Terrain is generally level with slight hills. Good location to bring the dog and the kids. Access to the cache could be one of three ways.

One way is to park at the boat ramp on Mill Road N 42 15.960 W 071 38.024 and follow the Charm Bracelet trail over the dam. The trail enters the woods near a large pine tree N 42 16.050 W071 38.326. The trail appears to be going through some back yards, but rest assured, it is all public property owned by the State of Massachusetts.

The second option is to park at the dead end of Fisher Street N 42 16.120 W071 38.939. Follow the Charm Bracelet trail from there. The trail appears to go quite close to houses, but it is all public land.

The third option is to take a canoe or kayak from the boat ramp on Mill Road N 42 15.960 W 071 38.024 and track your gps.
