This cache is for the adventurous geocacher. We went out the day before and spooked a moose on a trail just south of here and that is how we got the name for this cache. Took pictures of the fresh tracks but no photos of Bullwinkle. Maybe you might get a photo of him while enroute to this cache. We also found a large black bear skull on the side of the trail so wildlife abounds in the area. Please bring with you maps of the trails in the area to make the find easier. Approach the cache on a trail from the south that heads northeast. The trail can be a little worn and narrow at times but can be navigated by any car. Do not be intimidated by the mud holes on the trail . All of the mud holes are less than 5 inches deep and have no ruts. The mud puddles on the trail have a solid rock bottom so don't shy away... remember geocaching is an adventure! The cache contains: logbook, pencil, knife, golf balls, fishing lures, disk case, beanie baby bear, nascar sticker, Guiness Book of World Records, and plenty of goodies for kids. One of the Upper Pennisula's greatest treasures is at the cache site for you to photograph and check out while searching for the cache. You can also make a day of it by visiting the "Falls Last Ride" cache just south of here, one that Moose Trax and Co placed last summer. When trading items in the cache I ask that no one place a windshield ice scraper in the cache. I don't think that there is a soul in all of Upper Michigan who doesn't already have an ice scraper!!! This is an inside joke between me and Moose Trax. Anyhow I hope that you have as much fun finding the cache as my kids, Moose Trax and myself did placing it! Have fun!
