Cache is hidden in a very popular park in the summer with locals. It involves a 40 min hike on a well formed track, with some fairly steep bits in places.
Directions. About 8km west of Gore. It is well sign posted from various points around Gore. The easiest way is from Charlton Road by the Shell Station out the South end of Gore. Or head up to the end of Broughton Street to the cemetery and follow the signs.
When you arrive at the park, find the start of the Croydon Bush Walkway. There are two ways to the cache. It is on the Dolamore Track which is a loop track and you can go either way.
GPS coverage at cache site is very good. Accuracy 6m.
It is well worth the drive out to experience what it has to offer.
Be careful in summer as there will be a lot of people around. No dogs allowed and gates closed at dusk.
Cache is a clear 500m snaplock container.
It contained when hidden:
Log and pen
Toy car
Small plastic toy
Photo frame.
